Recording with an Ipad
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:29:22 PM »
I'm a bit of a technophobe, but the missus has just bought an iPad and has brought it to my attention that I could actually use it for home recording. I fancy having a bash at this as the last time I did this was with a borrowed 4 track about 16 years ago!

I have had a bit of a look into it and am gonna grab a copy of garageband to start with, as its only a few quid. My main question is what bit of kit do I need to plug guitar/bass/mics into the iPad? There seem to be a lot of different solutions out there, but wondered if any o you knowledgeable fellas have done this?

Cheers

I'm not sure how well it works for home recording, but I love the Amplitube stuff, with the iRig adapter.
