did you change the pots/caps/switch too?
RS guitarworks has strat upgrade sets, used the LP kit in my Gibson, that was a BIG improvent.
would this be needed to get more out of the irish tour set?

Don't forget that BKP stock CTS pots and switches, and they're cheaper here than anywhere else! I believe that if you return your warranty form you get a free swicth or something - check with Tim.

Yes RS i had the kit from RSGWS and that is where i send my guitars to get set-up. I have not found anybody around here that would do a professional and clean work on a guitar. I do not know how to, so i have to rely on somebody else. These guys have consistetly proven themselves. It's interesting to have somebody in England that does the same. With pickups this excellent i'll bet the caps, pots, must be worth trying too. :)

the pots i got from here are from 'allparts', which is a US company i think? anyway, they are a pretty well respected manufacturer from what i heard. i havent had a chance to use them yet but i will soon!
