Anyone ever go back and look at their old posts?

When I look back at mine, I definitely notice how silly I seemed back then. I'm sure feelings are similar for you guys too?

I do sometimes search out an old post or two when I know a topic's been discussed before. 

I wouldn't say they seem any more silly than they did at the time (i.e. pretty verbose and idiotic, generally), but I am sometimes surprised to find myself saying almost exactly the same thing five or six years later.  Set in my ways.....?  :?

I dont look at my old posts exactly but i do go back and listen to old clips i posted.

In a way its fantastic as it shows me how much i have improved but it also highlights how horrendous my tone has been in the past and my playing/songwriting skills.

I'm sure I made lots of posts where I said I'd never spend more than "£X amount" on a guitar, or I'd never buy a Gibson custom shop guitar..... that all went out the window.  :oops:
