Orange Cabs and Cornford Cabs are both superb, the oranges have a midrange push that I like. The best though are mongotone...not sure if they still exsist though

I seem to remember Nolly using an Orange 2x12 in his rig at some point? If so, that might sound pretty nice.

The Orange PPC412 is getting a reputation for being 'the best' cab you can get at ANY price.  I definitely prefer it to any Marshalls, mesa boogies, peaveys, diezels etc etc.  Its built like a wrecking ball and sounds fantastic and its orange.......which i think is cool

if you can find one for cheap, I highly recommend the framus cobra 4x12 with stock celestion greenbacks
it was the best metal cab I ever played
its size and frontloaded construction makes things sound punchy and focused with a lot of projection but still keeping the organic tone of greenbacks
in live situations it cuts even better than any v30 cab I've seen

You have no idea how happy you have made me with that statement because that's the Cab I have and it makes my Powerball come alive!

that cab made all the amps I tried with it sound great in every situation
even the single rectifier I had, that I hated in everything else, including mesa 4x12 and 1x12 cabs, sounded good with the cobra cab
the framus cobra head was also very picky with cabs and speakers, and only sounded good with its matching cab

I suppose these are cheap in europe

I only own the 1x12 but yeah I have to admit the orange 4x12 is an amazing cab for sound, it does look stunning as well but it weights an absolute tonne! maybe that's why they sound so good? even the 1x12 is outstanding quality and really thick plywood around the edges, I love mine.
