I would say no, unless you consider Hendrix or Tommy Bolin type tones as metal...

Just put in an hour w the speaker, my '62 reissue Strat, AnalogMan SunFace and Beano Boost. Sounds fantastic!

That looks great (according to Jane only a geek could like the look of a speaker). She clearly has no idea.

I've been umming and aaahing about a change in speaker lately. I've currently got a Jensen Neo speaker in my cab. Nice and light but doesn't sound as 'full' as I'd like it to. I'm just too lazy to do anything about it at the moment.

Would be good to hear some clips of yours Ben.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I will have clips real soon; nothing fancy but you will get the gist. It's really fantastic if you're going after a vintage sound.

Very nice vintage tone there.  Obviously, being that way inclined, I am biased but that is amongst the best tone I have heard in a while.  8)
