Toss up between BSSM and Californication. Both very different albums, the raw power of BSSM is infectious. Far less groove to Californication, but some truly memorable tracks, especially Otherside, and some great lines. I love the funk meets grunge vibe of Californication (although ironically I think the title track is probably the weakest).

I think lotsa people would disagree with you about the title track of Cali. Including me  :D

I actually agree with him. :)
I find Californication to be one of the more boring and repetitive tracks on the album. That said, my opinion about it used to differ. I may have simply over listened to it! :lol:

I think it's a decent track. Definitely not on their A-list of songs. The song from a guitarist's perspective is definitely pretty boring, but I like the way the track builds up to the choruses.

BSSM/By the Way/Californication for me I think. I have a version on my laptop of BSSM minus Kiedis, it's a MUCH better album for it.
