I may have just bought my first place!
« on: April 28, 2013, 01:59:03 PM »
The wife and I recently found a nice 1 bed apartment in Watford that we loved and put an offer in last week. There was a lot of back and forth with the current owner but we got the call yesterday that she's accepted our offer!

We start the mortage application tomorrow (which is pretty much already to be set up) and fingers crossed we get to move in within a few months.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth buying experience. It really is a great feeling when you get your own place after a lifetime of renting.

Thanks guys. Most of the paper work is done, I just have to send back the mortage deed. We're close to officially getting our first place.
