Congrats on the guitar.  The thirtieth birthday present to yourself is a tradition I fully support :)  I got myself my first Gibson Les Paul standard for my thirtieth, and I still love it

awesome :D I have one of these (in black, ideally I'd have wanted cherry like yours but the black one was available and I was scared of waiting any longer in case I never came across another one) and it's very nice. I think the stock bridge p90 is a little honky (though p90s might just be like that) so the fact yours is already upgraded is a bonus. :D

And agreed about the neck p90 being pretty smooth- I don't really play any jazz (so bear that in mind :lol: ) but to my ears I nearly find a neck p90 to be "jazzier" than a neck humbucker :lol:

Really like that. It reminds me as much of a Gretsch Corvette as it does of a PRS and that's no bad thing in my eyes. And P90s are the business.

Very nice indeed. I got a JJ retro second hand going back a couple of years.  Really nice sweet sounding guitar.  Never tried one of theres with p90s in it but if the humbucker version is anything to go off lot of guitar for the money.  Hope you really enjoy it.

I'm a bit surprised by how many of these seem to be coming out of the woodwork now so to speak!  :lol:

I've got my 70s punk covers band tonight and I think this guitar will be a good fit for it. So I'll see how it goes!
