Black Dog for Metal/Surrounding Genres

So I've been reading around the Internet/listening to sound clips of this pickup, and the only real metal clip I've found is on the BKP website. Are there any other professionally recorded clips that associate this pickup with metal? As I want to be more sure about buying this pickup for my PRS 7 string... Also, does anyone have any experience with this pickup? Can this pickup actually be used for modern metal?

I cant think of any clips but if it helps in any way I know John Schaffer of iced earth was using one before he got his own signature pickup with wcr.  I listen to iced earth less and less these days but no one can deny that guy wrote some heavy/fast as hell riffs

Surprisingly, it does modern sounds really well. I found its sound can be really crushing, because it has more clarity than most overly compressed pickups and that really cuts through.
