My brother had two or three versions of the Sinclair Spectrum, and I think he had a secondhand Commodore 64 for a while. Or maybe it was an Amiga.Apart from reading long pages of code to him so he could type in various "pokes" for games, I never got involved. I never have been into computer/video games at all, too many other things to stupidly waste my time on.....
you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

Now if you remember a Vic 20 then you are pretty old. It was the lame cheap version of the C-64 with only a quarter of the memory and really rubbish graphics. I also have very strong memories of those bloody tape drivesWe had a Vic 20 - my Dad got it as a Christmas present, it would have probably been about 30 years ago! I remember the excitement on Christmas Day when he opened it. We spent the rest of the day playing 'Rat Race' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radar_Rat_Race and 'Blitz' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blitz_(video_game).Although limited I did love having the Vic 20 and spent many a happy hour playing on it!
