HI ! Actually ive got a mayones regius 7 with bkp warpig set and recently, i ve change my 1x12 cabinet ( v30) for a custom 2x12 ( v30 and evm 12l ) and due to the massive and tight lows of this cabinet, i want to change the warpig for another brighter pickup. In one hand, i have at home a set of cold sweat neck and miracle man bridge ( which i was going to sell to buy a AM set ) so i was wondering if this combo would suit well in the mayones ( if i did the change, i would have to go to the luthier, thats why i need information :) ) . I love the thick low mids of the miracle man and its personal bite but im afraid of the highs...In other hand, one of the most typical combos in the mayones regius is AM set so...which is thicker and darker of this two pickups, AM or MM? do you think, at least, miracle man is a good choice for the bridge? Thanks a lot  !!  :D :D

Miracle Man/Cold Sweat sounds perfect for that guitar and would be somewhat cheaper than buying a new set  :D

Its the primary idea but if someone can help me it would be better. A pickup change is aprox. 40 euros minimun, and if i dont like it, its that 40 euros plus the new pickups plus another 40 euros for the new replecement thats why im looking for help !

Slarti knows his stuff.  I'd trust him.  But more input from the rest of the forum may help.  And it sucks not being very comfortable changing your own pickups. It gets pricey for sure

Thanks LRG2, I'm quite flattered

I can't see the highs on a Miracle Man being a problem. If you're happy all the low mids will be OK with your amp/cab then the highs will be fine. It can give you some really screaming solos with those highs but it's never going to brittle or harsh. I found the highs to be quite thick sounding. One of my favourite pickups to play and certainly my choice for Metal in the post-1988 era. I don't have first hand experience of the Aftermath but from the clips, I can't see it being thicker or darker than a Miracle Man. It's also a very different tone. While the Miracle Man is thick, smooth and organic, the Aftermath seems more dry, tight and aggressive.
