Woah. Those are stunning, nice work Jon!

I got a bit oblivious about the whole Blackmachine hype, how does one order those guitars nowadays? Mailing Doug seemed to be useless in the past, so could you clear up a bit about the mystery of Blackmachine guitars?  :)

I dig those crazy coloured pickups.

I couldn't be happier with my own Cold Sweat set either!

Fine work as always! :D

Nothing could be further from "my type of guitar" than a Blackmachine (though to be fair, at least it's a hardtail), but I always admire the workmanship and the look of the swamp ash.

The new tuners sound an interesting idea, although I do wonder if it's one of those "must have" inventions that no-one was crying out for....
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Beautiful guitars.  On paper, the blue/pink humbuckers sounds like a terrible idea!  but it actually looks great.  I have a pink Maverick superstrat that I've wanted to put Cold Sweats in, and in my head it was Zebra pickups, but these may make me think again
cry HAVOC!! and let slip the pigs of war!!!

Pop in sometime Phil - you can have a try - although to be fair the neck on the B6 is fairly slim which isn't to your taste.
Can't promise that I wont leave a Lion cub out though which may tickle your fancy more.

What's changed recently is that I'm handling the sales for the B6 model. so for that model I'd be your point of contact.
Having said that making any more than 20 in a year on top of my own stuff will prove to be tricky
For all other models you'd have to speak to Doug and they are pretty thin on the ground.

It certainly would!   You know me, always getting ideas and never seeing them through....

I keep thinking about getting something special for my "big" birthday next year, but after spending a couple of hours actually playing this morning (!!!  :o !!!) I have to wonder if I should be bothering with this guitar lark at all.... reality check needed I think.  :?

Jonathan what's the profile like on an B6 neck? I think I read somewhere it's like an ibanez neck but the middle is wider and flatter before tapering off

The B2 and B6 necks differ.
Your description may match the profile of the B2
The B6 is like a mix of a Jem neck and a slim taper 60s strat neck - but with a 12" fingerboard radius.
It is a more conventional neck, and easier to adapt to if coming from traditional guitars

I rather like it - nice under the hand
You have to be very careful fitting it though as it doesn't have a great range of adjustment for intonation, so important to get it in the right place

I do worry that because the saddles can fall off if you break a string that someone will lose a saddle on a dark stage if they broke a string.
