Mint pickguard with olympic white strat

I've just bought and aged a mint 62 pickguard from Fender for my early 60's style olympic white relic strat. Before I had a white Callaham single ply PG but I think mint is better suited for this type of guitar.

Pic of it (please forgive the poor lighting):




I'm waiting for a tone cap (NOS ceramic) to arrive to put the guitar together and take some proper pictures...

What do you think? Any fans of mint here?

I do like mint, and your ageing looks good! 

But personally I must confess I'm a fan of tortoise and pearloid, even though they're generally not period-correct.  I quite like gold anodised too, for a '50s style Strat, although I've heard the metal scratchplate may sometimes cause problems.

if interested pm me and I'll let you know who I bought it from. I got mine through a seller in the US (ebay). It was very well priced and it arrived in a week. (about £23 incl. delivery)

I live the mint pick guards- I have one on my Sonic Blue 1960's r/i and I think it looks fab.
