I looked around and didn't find any threads about this tuner and I'm curious what you all think of it.

No experience with this one, never heard of it even. But when it comes to rack tuners, I personally can´t see myself going for anything but Peterson. So far I only got their Clip on, which I find absolutly glorious already, so I dare not even dream of how great a rack version could be.

I've never checked out Peterson so I'll have to look them up. My DTR-2000 is like a dying soldier, it's fading away.

The Peterson clip on tuner. The precision is of course fantastic and once you get used to working with it you can also tune up pretty fast. They also have a range of adjusted tunings for all sorts of instruments which I really like. Of course they also have their downsides, but if you know what they are doing I think they are great. For example the electric guitar sweetened tuning optimises the intervals you need for powerchords. Cool stuff.

Have not tried their racks yet, but going by the clip I would imagine them to be pretty darn cool.

I didn't know they made tuners like that. Thanks for telling me about it! I'm on their website watching videos right now.

I use the Peterson rack strobe which is great , but we also use the older Korg DTR1 rack which has been great  for the 15 years we've had it.

These look pretty cool though!

I miss having my old Conn strobo tuner  - if only from the theatre point of view - always impressed customers when I fired it up - was like a prop from an old Flash Gordon Movie - made me look like a crazy scientist.



Peterson need to make a modern desktop strobe that looks the same (other than the pedal one which we have, but isn't so handy for the workshop)
