My Warpig'd gothic V
« on: March 14, 2006, 03:47:20 PM »
Finally managed to get my warpigs fitted in my Epi gothic V - managed to solder a couple of my fingers too!!
Hope to get some clips recorded to compare it with the MM set in my LP (but I've been saying that for a few months now).
I probably should have polished it a bit before I took the pics - its covered in greasy little fingermarks!
MM set, warpig set, about to be fitted - custom 7 bridge 'pig, CS7 neck.

Looks like a serious 'take no prisoners' metal axe. Looking forward to the clips.

If it sounds half as evil as it looks...........

Thanks for the comments guys  :)
Its quite a light guitar compared to my LP but still sounds really heavy. The main differences between the pigs and the MM set in the LP are that the pigs have loads more grunt but aren't quite as defined playing faster down-tunes stuff (fear factory sort of riffs) but they have more depth for slower chugging riffs.
Clips are on their way - hopefully should have them done for friday so you can hear the difference between the  two sets of pups.
MM set, warpig set, about to be fitted - custom 7 bridge 'pig, CS7 neck.

I'm not usually a big fan of the gothic guitars, but that guitar really looks impressive.
