Yea, I heard that they've made the MIJ Fenders since 97 - not sure how much truth there is in that but it's pretty ironic and made me chuckle.
I've made my mind up on what I'm going to get now, anyway 8)
I think they've made MIJ Fenders on occasion, but I think the MIJ Fenders were more often made by Dyna Gakki (don't quoite me on that), and according to wiki Fujigen made them originally. I know a few years back Tokai got rid of their fender copies and came up with slightly modified designs- I think they were building for fender then. Then the blatant Fender copies came back fairly soon afterwards which makes me think Fender stopped using them again.
