Hi ! I have ordered a lefty schecter banshee 8 ( alder body, flame maple top , maple neck bolt on and ebony fingerboard , 28") and what i want to play with that is songs by meshuggah, periphery, feared, machine head...I mean, 8 string songs or 7 or even 6 string in Drop D and drop C, so ...

I know that wood configuration is fairly bright , and i look for thick but really aggressive and tight sound so my main choice was the miracle man...My other option is the aftermath but im not sure about it...I have had miracle man several times in other guitars and it isnt as bright as it eq curve suggets but  i was looking for opinion that comes by anyone that has both or he / she has been able to compare it....

any advice / opinion? thanks !

If the guitar is naturally bright, I would steer clear of the Aftermath.  I had a set in a 26.5" scale Ibanez RGD & didn't care for them at all.  The reviews you read about their high end being "squeaky" or "Ice picky" are completely accurate.  I REALLY wanted to like those pickups, as they looked great & I got them for a steal, but wound up selling them in the end & am currently running Black Hawks in that guitar, which are much better.

Anyway, as for the Miracle Man, I recently installed one of these in my 27" scale Ibanez RG2228m & it actually sounds great!  The high end is tamed just enough to not kill you when tremolo picking higher strings & the lows are surprisingly tight.  Maybe also look into the Painkiller for the bands you're wanting to play, but I'm pretty sure you'd be happy with the MM.

I have the painkiller in a les paul style and its superb but i prefer , with this guitair ( it isnt as thicker as the les paul ) something thicker. I was thinking in putting a painkiller neck and put the miracle man and the painkiller out of phase, this position is really clear and tight, at least with the painkiller and vhII ! thank you for the request !
