Tapped Tele Pickups? - Tim?
« on: March 18, 2006, 04:14:07 PM »
Hey guys.

As some of you may remember, a while ago I was asking about which Tele bridge pickup would be 'best' for the cheap Tele I have which I plan on re-wiring as a Esquire.

I eventually decided that a Boss bridge pickup would do what I want, as this was the 1 I liked most when I tried them all at music Live, and it was also suggested to me when I originally asked about pickups.

I've been thinking about having a bridge pickup with a 'tapped' output, so that I can use the 3 way switch on the Tele to choose between 2 output levels of the pickup.

I haven't seen anything about this anywhere on the Bareknuckle site, so I just wondered if this is a good idea, and if it'd be possible to have made?

Thanx for any info.

Craig

Hi Craig,

I'm pretty certain Tim will tap a tele if you want it.  I have a tapped MQ.  I just ordered the Brown Sugar bridge, but with a Slowhand strat neck for one of my teles.  How are things going?  I'm going to try to make it to LGS again.

Cheers
Phil

Hi Phil.

Things are going ok thanx.

I'm still unemployed, but things with the band are going well, and we've been signed up for a Development Deal. So hopefully that'll lead to other things for us :)

Hope you're doing ok mate.
