Erm, yeah I bought it for a fiver off eBay or something.

Basically, it's just a memory recognition trick, the kind of thing thats been in use since the ancient Greeks, to memorize the names of the notes in various positions. It's OK for that kind of thing, and certainly interesting, but it doesn't give you what the guy claims it will - it certainly doesn't make you master the fretboard!

Blimey that was a quick responce! It seems nothing can get away with wild claims now we have this forum lol!

I'll buy a copy off you just to see what it's like!

Does it use colours to help remember notes?

i found it really easy to learn where the notes are, i use the octave positions to work them out ;) seeing i memorised the 2 low strings (useful to know what powerchord your playins) and the octave positions show the notes and the high e string you already know. took a bit of time but its much more fun, better practice and easier than nmonics (sp? cant spell that word. curse you dyslexia!)

haha yer the octaves do help a lot.... make it much quicker.

ive known about octaves for ages but only recently realised that when you play a powerchord your playing two of the same note....

Just learn your scales then its a lot easier. That is the simplest way and it has got a real mathmatic quality to it!
