My uncle told me about the superglue thing when I jokingly suggested it years ago, and apparently it's a carinogen. Not sure how true that is but it's not something I'd put on myself either way you know. However, wikepedia, as always, has come up trumps.

but does anything go wrong wen yu accidentally get it in the cut?

Nope, it's non-toxic.  You basically clean the wound and the close and seal it with the glue.

Ah, c'mon!  Anything that spins you out if you inhale it can't be good for you.  Non-toxic should mean you can eat the stuff.

I can think of many food-stuffs which in their raw form can "spin you out" if you inhale fumes from it.  Doesn't mean they're toxic though.  ;)

Practically anything with lots of Chili in can do that to me.  I think I may have an intolerance for capsaicin.

I believe it's a slightly different formulation for skin (I vaguely remember the brandname Dermabond)

So what size of wound would require a switch from regular to gel superglue.

I'm a bit worried as Sam has been quiet on this subject, has he cut too deep, or perhaps superglued his hands to somthing delicate ?

Speaking of low frequency abuse, an ex neighbour was a pretty damned good bass player, despite his slapping and popping (on bass) he did know when to shut up (unlike Mark King)

He followed the Mick Karn method and used to use two octave pedals, one for octave up and for one octave down (sometimes 1 down & 2 down).

It was really funny to watch other bassists killing their rigs, by running with the same effects but through one amp and cab ;)

Always dangerous giving bass players pedals because they insist upon using them.

Bass players should be seen and not heard.  ;)

For bass players with ego problems, allow them to plug into the amp but on no account let them turn it on.  :P

I think it's just you.  ;)  It's true that some foods have potentially toxic qualities, but not in normal consumption or scent.  Peppers are in the nightshade family, which contain toxins.  Most people are ok with them, but the green parts aren't good for anyone.

This truly is the least rock 'n' roll thread in history.  :)

Searcher obviously hasn't searched as hard as I. This forum gets SO much less rock'n'roll than this thread, lol

Why were you doing it for so long  :o The only one that ever used to take me that amount of time was the beastly morning rounds, especially on sunday. Even though my village is fairly small, the papers are bloody heavy in a trolley.
