I will have to make a choice at some point, and in the end it's a matter of taste. I will let you guys know for sure!

This week I'll pick up my Jackson Soloist Pro '94 (poplar body) with a newly installed C-Pig! I'll let my choice depend on how that sounds. I'll try to make to decent soundclipt as well.

So, I've installed my ceramic Warpig in my '94 Soloist Professional (there used to be a Blackout in there). It has a poplar body and maple neck.

I just don't know how to describe the power, roar and punch this beast has. It offers TONS of bass and mid, but the high's are nice too! It certainly has more chord clarity than the Blackout and it sounds very clear everywhere on the neck. I'm in love with the Warpig! But I am very sure this it to powerfull for an already very dark mahogany construction. So I'll be ordering an Aftermath for the Warrior soon :-)

Rad! Yeah, the Warpig would almost certainly turn out weird in a dark, all mahogany guitar.

The Aftermath didn't work for the same reason in my darker, all mahogany guitar... but i'll be curious as to how it works out for you.

I had an A-Pig in a very dark korina Explorer.  Tuned to C# standard it sounded a little too much like a very dark bass.  I swapped them out. I'm sure they will be great when I eventually install them in a brighter guitar.  There was just nowhere to go on the tone knob. The brightest setting was the darkest I could stand

Thats why I have Warpigs in two of my guitars. They are beasts!!
Love that you gave them  a chance. A lot of people never give them the time of day because they think they are too dark. Usually they are the perfect solution to most peoples tonal problems.
