Currently getting a custom built and need some advice on a neck pickup from those in the know.
Basically, I'm set on getting the Juggernaut bridge pickup but I don't know what to do for the neck.
In my 6 string I have a Dimarzio Crunchlab in the bridge and a Bluesbucker in the neck (possibly my favourite neck pickup ever) and I kinda want that same open sound for the 7 string. Question is do I go for one of the vintage output Humbuckers or one of the new 7 string HSP90s?? And then which specific model?
I know the the P90s will almost definitely get the sound I'm after but I don't know if I'd be better off with a Humbucker?
Too many choices that all sound amazing.... maybe I should stick them on a roulette wheel and let fate decide!
