Framus Panthera new pickups
« on: March 15, 2015, 09:14:06 PM »
Hi, i'm looking for new pickups for my Panthera Pro with bolt on ovangkol neck. I've tried different pickups in other guitars:

Alnico black hawk in a les paul standard, this is my current first guitar, great pickup, powerful, clear and with great low-mids.
Painkiller, cool but soo much agressive.
Rebell yell, weak bass and output.

I'm between C-Hawk and Nailbombs, or maybe cold sweat.

I play metal through a 5153, i like raw throaty sound but very clear, with great definition.

What do you think?

Think the C-Bomb is more suited to LP type guitars
BKP: Abraxas - Les Paul
Holy Diver - Charvel
Mule - Les Paul
Rebel Yell - Les Paul
VHII - PRS CU22
Emerald - Les Paul
Warpig - Caparison Horus
