Interesting to read this thread ( been away a lot recently- Mrs 38th having been ill) as I will, at some point, replace the stock pickups of my Gibson ES339 with BKP's. I was interested in Jonathan's(Feline) suggestion when we were talking just before Christmas and he suggested a Stormy Neck and as Mule bridge.

I was previously thinking of either a Stormy set or Mule and was leaning towards Mules in the event ( again after Andy's suggestions). I'd be interested in the outcome.
Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance
BKP's: Apache, Country Boy, Slowhands.

As promised pictures of the guitar... In sunlight

The mule is doing good. I'm happy with the changes! Till now just tried on my JMP, but have to test on the old super reverb still.

Nice!

I can see how Mule bridge and Stormy neck could easily be the best of both worlds.

Yes they work nice together, however the Mule-neck is absolutely to die for and one of my favorite neckpickups I have/had.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Yes the mule is not hotter than the stormy neck imo, just different.
