Agent Orange - many many thanks for that vid.

I wouldn't have thought it - but i really liked how the Black Dog bridge and CS bridge sounded in that video.
Unfortunately he doesn't really play on the neck pickups...

Yes it is a common problem that you don't get much on videos of the neck pickup.

COLD SWEAT (if you listen carefully you can hear him hit the selector switch):

Thank you again.
The HD is hard to judge in that clip - also because of the melody and playing style,
The Cold Sweat neck sounded good.
The Rebel Yells sounded super compressed, but I think it's the preamp the guy in the video is using. Hard to imagine BKP's being without dynamics, as in that vid

I think the best you can hope for with regard to those videos is to try to get a sense of overall sound and relative brightness

If you can find a BKP sample clip for each that is the same (e.g., contemporary metal or hair metal) and compare those that is probably best.  You can then go 'okay, X is more bright than Y but less bright than Z' etc. The clips do include the neck pickup, you just need to keep an ear out for it.

Yeah I liked the Cold Sweat neck in that clip too.  Basically I would expect the RY neck to be similar but with a little more brightness and a little less of that rounded bell-like quality
