Single Coils Suggestions

I'll be getting an Agile Strat soon and I'll want to change the pups. From what I hear Bare Knuckle is the way to go. What are some single coils that'll get me nice cleans (think Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and an iron Maiden-ish distortion tone?

I was thinking a Mother's Milk set. How do they handle distortion? Or should I get the Sinner for the bridge? If so, how are it's cleans?

Thanks to anyone who can help.  :)

I have a set of Mothers Milk and they work great for cleans and distorted. I have a crawler Humbucker at the bridge if I need more power, though. The Milks sounds great, though; i'd happily recommend them.

Nice avatar by the way!

I love my Mother's Milks and the have a nice warm bluesy sound when put through  something distorted.  As for warm cleans in the Peppers mode they can't be beat.  If you want the range to do Maiden though maybe consider Irish Tours to give you that extra power.

Check out Hayden's sound clips of Apaches, MM and Tours.

I've not played one but maybe a Sinner in the bridge will give you a good Maiden tone? Or the Uber trilogy set but I dont think they'll do the cleans quite so well?

Thanks for the replies. :)

From the soundclips I've heard, the Trilogy Suite have some nice cleans. I might look into them.

Any other suggestions?

I have a Sinner in the bridge, with neck and middle pickups from another company, but that sound very much like the Mother's Milk pickups.  It's a very balanced set, actually.  And the Sinner does cleans very well.  Before I got the Sinner I rarely ever used the bridge position in single coil guitars, but I find I'm using it more often than not now; it just sounds that good.

Do Bare Knuckle do covers for single coils? I have a feeling some white covers on a tobacco sunburst Strat would look really nice. :)

Isnt white the most common colour for strat pickups anyway? I'm sure BK do white covers.

Yes they do white covers, I've got them on my Irish Tours. Which are killer by the way. No pun intended.
