NGD . i've got the PRS fever...

I have VHII's in my ME II, which also has a rosewood neck.  Mine has the Signature switching, so I have series/parallel on each pickup.  I like the sound of them much more than the 57/08's which were in it.  Having said that, I have BK's in all my PRS's so I may be a bit biased!  I like the more open sound and for the classic rock and blues that I play, this gives me a great range.

the only thing thats really bugging me about these 59/09 pickups (which i read is basically just a hotter 57/08) is that there seems to be a bit more midrange than i'm used to. probably upper mids... not sure. they sound great but they really are not what i'm used to.

i was curious about the vhIIs. maybe i'd like em in this guitar more than my old les paul.

so i managed to score a 2nd set of 10th anniversarys. i'm very happy about that. i dont expect it to sound identical to the 335 i already have them in. its just such a monster pickup set. they'd sell so well if they were readily available. should have them soon!
