oh yaeh ... g'day

Thanks for the kind welcome gents.

Here's a picture of the Tokai for anyone interested.

I'm just gathering up the bravery required to take my tools to it and get the Crawlers installed.

Hi JP hate to admit it but found this beauty on Ebay :o

Made in 2004 but never raced or rallied. :D Actually never played in anger.

The trouble I'm having doing the upgrades is nothing short of frustrating.  Bought new pots and a new toggle switch and some Grover machines to compliment the BKP's upgrade, ended up having to ream out the holes in the body for the pots and just about to complete the re-wire.

Anyone have any opinions on upgrade machines as the grover ones I bought don't fit the holes in the headstock?  I'd like to stay with tulip greenies to keep it authentic but assume the OEM ones are Gotoh so would need something "better" whatever that means.   ps the Grovers I bought weren't tulip greenies and I now know their 135 series do look the part.

Hopefully will be able to get you some soundbites once the Crawlers are operational.

Cheers all,

Andrew :)
