Anyone tried Axetrack?
« on: April 01, 2006, 08:39:37 PM »
http://www.jlhproducts.com/axetrak/   Has anyone tried one of these. I've read some stuff on them, most people who use it seem to like it. Nothing like miking up an amp in a room but not everyone has that option. Thoughts :?: Oops that was the old website

There's a UK dealer as well. Don't know if I'll pickup one of these or that final set of BKPs. They give you 5 days to try it out from the day you receive it to make up your mind.

It would be interesting to hear one, they got good reviews...not that that means much these days!

The clips sound great though!

Looks v. interesting. Kinda like a baby Iso-Cab without all the size/weight issues. However, it's not as flexible.

I find the fact that it uses an actual speaker driver and mic transducer to produce the sound cool.

There's a bit too much hedging with all the talk about blowing fuses for ensure total confidence in me, tho.

I think the fuse is just a fail safe to protect the speaker. The unit is only meant to handle 100 watts max, and some amps put out more than that even if rated lower. Better to blow a fuse than the speaker.
