Hello folks. Thought some of you might be interested/bemused/amused that I rewired the Parker with some mental wiring. It changes the pickup loading from 500k to 250k when on the neck SC, or on the split bridge. It's got a TBX Tone Pot wired up differently as a LPF/HPF, so on 5 is no load, 0-4.5 is treble cut, 5.5-10 is bass cut. Like this, but with the 180k on the superswitch shorted out instead (decided it was a bad idea after drawing this up)...

It's also got the piezo circuit on the end of this lot, with a bypass push-push piezo volume pot (to cut out all the active circuitry/battery use when not needed), but I skipped putting that in the diagram as it'll get super complex with that drawn in too.
Initial thoughts: it seems to work vaguely as intended, but I couldn't really play it at proper volume last night. Otherwise maybe it could do with a slightly stronger bass cut, and maybe two 47nF caps for darker treble roll off too? I'll try it properly for a proper opinion this weekend. Overall changing up from the old 250k tone pot in the last weird wiring job (which also had a 500k vol pot), to a no-load tone pot seems to have opened it up a little brighter though which was the biggest important issue. I've put NYXLs on it too though as I had a set handy, and I'm not too sure of the tone of those TBH as the other set I had on it about 6 months ago I wasn't too keen on soundwise. So string sound is also different at the same time which doesn't help!
What do you reckon? Any thoughts? Good idea? Just a big additional hum collecting mess? Should I use different value caps? Am I just mental and I should have just wired it all 500k with a fixed value tone cap for treble roll off only?
