I asked around here in regards to an ash ibanez prestige a little bit ago and decided to get the C-pig. However, I decided to change my pre-order to this bad boy http://www.ibanezrules.com/new/fr6ucsbkf.htm This one has a mahogany body and I wanted to replace the aftermaths on these to something a little more for lead. I'm looking for something good for lead guitar for melodic death metal (Children of bodom, necrophagist, kalmah, etc.)

Would a C-pig still be a solid choice? I know the C-pig was darker than the painkiller which is why I opted for it in the ash body guitar, but maybe it might be a bit dark on mahogony. Maybe opt for the painkiller?

The Cpig is not as hot at the myth goes. I use it in mahogany and still good for tech death, but bear in mind my guitar is a baritone 7 with stainless steel frets (add more trebble)

Please ignore this thread,  I opted out of the Mahogony and i'm going to get a basswood ibanez.
