I've definitely considered the TC.....great unit, but I would also need a midi switcher for it.....

All together, that would easily come out to over $600, and I'm really not that much of an effects guy. I need the tuner, and I want the delay for a little more ambience on solos and lead work. I think I would prefer to keep it simple, and only spend $200-300 on what I need.

Do you have experience with the G-major? Is it really worth it?

If you're worried about your tone in respects to tuners, split ur signal, one ine tuner and one into pedal board. I do it with an ernie ball volume pedal, which is good so i can still tune silently. Otherwise, the Boss Tu-2 is great, the Korg DT-10 is very very good.

Delay wise, i personally use a TC electronics Vintage delay, which is superb. Very clear and very nice. if u are only goin to be using it in the fx loop why cant u change the delay sound? are u not having the delay near to u or something? its just that tap tempo is a great feature to have. Of course the boss delays are fantastic, so you'll have to test everything out as much as possible.

I also use a Voodoo lab pedal power 2, great power supply with 8 outputs, i use all but 1 and have 2 etc power supplies for my whammy and delay (coz the cant be used with the PP2).

I'm not worrying about it that much, I just want to make sure I get a good pedal!

To tell you the truth, I think I'm going to go with the planet waves.

Quick question about the tuners.....they have two outpus, one will continue my signal, and can I leave the other one empty for silent tuning, or do I have to plug something into there? Will leaving the second one empty harm my gear in any way?

I've heard some people say that using the same power supply for stuff in front and in the loop can introduce noise (a "ground loop"? I'm not too well up on the technical jargon, lol). No personal experience myself, but worth bearing in mind/testing it out to see if it does it with your rig, ibanez!

I meant for pedals on board in same part of loop, i.e. "grouping" of systems as it where. Breaking down the whole chain (guitar) (pedals) (amp) etc. has always been best way I have gone about it :)

The only problem that I see is that I would then also need to use batteries for my korg tuner, and I just hate batteries.....I think the planet waves will be worth the $30 extra!

I dont know if anyones recommended this yet.. but I got a Korg DT 10 a while ago and its awesome. True bypass and tunes accurately enough, easy to use aswell.

One thing I thought I should mention...I want a slightly shorter delay....one that would beefen up my tone a bit for some faster licks and solo runs.....a long delay is also good, but the shorter is a little more important!

And about the DT-10....I've looked at it, it is not true bypass though....I'm assuming you're happy with it and hear no tone sucking with it?

I swear it used to say on the site that it was true bypass.. anyway it doesnt suck tone AT ALL, so I'll still recommend it!
