It doesn't have 24 frets but the Dean Evo Noir sounds perfect for you.  I have an Evo and it's a very good mid-range guitar.

Here's a link to the Evo noir http://www.deanguitars.com/bnds_v1/evo_noir_cb.htm

Those sell prestige's sell for about $1100 D: But yeah, I saw that.

And I can't forget I forgot about Dean. $%&#, I saw one of those hanging up, I should have tried it. I used  Dean Evo Special Select, it was alright, weird neck scale, hated it, but the Noir has 24 3/4, perfect. I don't mind 22 fret, too.

in my opinion dean guitars are quite underrated, there are some good models by them out there.

i'd probably go for that evo noir.

it sounds pretty good to me. ideal for what you want.

I'd go for a Schecter C1 blackjack. Very classy looking and well built, and MUCH cheaper.
The Dean Vendetta is a good guitar of this type as well (indeed, I'm thinking of getting one for my next GAS attack), but I'm not sure if the 4.0 model comes in black.
I'm another Cort owner and I love mine, something like the Katana may suit you.
