Laney amp?

I'm thinking of getting a lc30mkII myself. It seems like a nice balance. It'll sound fairly good at lower levels and can also be damn loud. Besides, there's not too many amps with a good clean and gain channel. I think it seems to be a pretty good deal..

how do you find the crate? i have a GT65 and personally think its an awesome amp for the money....

it sucks. the clean channel is ok to run effects through, but the rythm channel is pure cr@p. one trick pony and not even a good one at that.

wow davey, im definately lookin forward to the amp review!

Sounds like the LC15R is decided on with a tasty Overdrive pedal infront.

Once im ready for gigging ill look into cabs. Are there a huge amount of sound/quality differences in makes of cabs?

Oh and one last question, could anybody suggest a good overdrive pedal? I have no idea what to look for in OD pedals either   . I guess im new to alot of markets!

Thanks
