I’ve played both the Abraxas and Rebel Yell in similar guitars (both PRS SEs Abraxas we’re in a Tremonti and RY in a regular Singlecut). While I didn’t really care for the Abraxas bridge (thought the neck was great), I think it is the right choice for you over the RY. I prefer more top end from my guitars, and the Abraxas was too round in the high end for my taste. However, I think the Custom 24 is a brighter instrument than that particular Tremonti, and I think for the sound you’re looking for, the Abraxas should do exactly what you want. The RY doesn’t have as much treble as it does upper mids, but it does tend to work in thicker sounding instruments to help balance them out and cut better.
