Pickup suggestion for Schecter baritone 7 string

I have this Schecter SLS C-7, baritone 7 string (maple set neck, ebony fretboard and mahogany body), which has now 2 Seymour Duncan PUs in it (Black Winter bridge, Jazz neck). And I'm thinking to do upgrade it with a set of BKP.

I already have 2 guitars, both with Nailbombs Alnico sets in them (a Nude Guitars Baritone, 6 strings alumium neck and walnut body and a custom made 7 string guitar, 25.5" scale, korina body w/makassar top, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard), and I love the consinstency and tone of the Nailbombs on these guitars, both bridge and neck (and how they sound and react differently, the Nude having more punch and attach and the 7 string a beefier, bassier tone).

For the Schecter I was thinking to stay on the ceramic territory, since I think it suits very well this guitar, and I like it has a brighter voicing.

I was pondering about a Ragnarok, or Painkiller set.

I love having pleanty of lowend, and I like alot ceramic PUs on the clean sound too, due to their bright spectrum/clarity, & punchy mids.

What do you thing and what are your suggestions, experiences with these PUs?
Maybe a Painkiller with covers (to tame a little bit the high end) would fit on such guitar?

It surely would. I had two SLS 7 and they are huge slabs of woods. I had them with the Full Shred first and the blackouts also. The latter improved a little bit the tone, the first was a no no, too polite and plain. Anyway I wasn't happy and sold both but I think they might be perfect guitars for the Painkillers. The Ragnaroks might excel your bass response a little bit from what I read.

That's why back then I've changed the bridge pu with the Black Winter: that fullshred was focused but no low end at all... really meh.

SO you think the Painkiller set would be the way to go?

I dunno, mate, I haven't tried the pk but I have friends who say they are the best for every extreme metal in a good slab of mahogany as the juggs would play the best part in modern metal (which I agree). Anyway, the BKP catalogue is huge, so you probably should ask Tim himself or other users here.

So, today I received the Ragnarok set and I've mounted in my Schecter SLS7 as soon as I got home!

First impression: these are on the bright side (which I wanted for this guitar), they have a lot of bite, but the low frequencies are there and very full.
The first check was comparing these to my other 2 guitars which have Nailbomb Alnico sets in them. The NB sounds more fat and grinding, compared to the Ragnarok.

Then I went to rehearsal. I play also in a reggae/dub band, and here this guitar with the Ragnaroks shines!
I love the clean sounds, both bridge and neck! The super cool thing I love in this context is the bite the Rags have on the mids, and theier open, bright sound, which is very reminiscent of single coils. But you have a full HB, no noise, and if you need a loooooot of gain on tap.

Super happy, and very glad BKP team suggested me these over the Painkillers.

I did a bit more testing this morning: the distorted osunds are very thick in a good way, but there's a lot of clarity and note separation.

Very interesting.  The way you describe the guitar, I would have suggested painkillers.  My friend has a maple neck and mahogany body schecter 26.5 scale 7 string and the painkiller sounds great in the bridge of that guitar. 

The ragnaroks sounds interesting but I don't have enough guitars to try a set.

I emailed with BKP too, and they suggest me the Ragnarok, because the Painkiller would have been too bright in this guitar.
