Black Dog Bottom End?

I have a tele-type guitar - alder core with a swamp ash top - and I need a humbucker for the bridge--something hot vintage--and I'm seriously considering the Black Dog but The YouTube examples make the Black Dog seem kinda twangy and trebly. Does the pickup have enough low end to make a big, full tone?

I suppose I’d also consider the Abraxas. Anyone have any experience to share?

The Black Dog has a deep bottom end, a lot of center mids and a quite a bit of highend. Clips don't say too much, they often don't represent the true character of a pickup due to personal ampsettings and recording technique. The polysol wire sets the BD apart from vintage(hot) BKP's and provides it's throaty and agressive nature. Bottom end is quite huge though.

If you're looking for a big vintage sound with a rounder topend: Abraxas or the medium hot Crawler (not as hot as it seems to be on paper).

I was worried the Black Dog was mostly mid and treble.
The Abraxas seems a little fuzzy in a couple of the clips I have heard. What attracted my interest was that it was supposed to have a strong bottom end.

I guess I will choose between Black Dog and Abraxas. Decisions decisions!   

This bridge humbucker I will be choosing will be combined with a Dimarzio Cruiser (bridge model) in the neck.
