Has anyone else here 'downsized' their pedalboard this year? During recording sessions in February / March it became obvious that my old setup had many vulnerabilities and limitations so when the pandemic hit and our government started giving us stimulus payments I decided to build a new board around a Boss MS-3 multi-fx / switcher
This is the old Pedaltrain PT-2 in one of its last incarnations:

Quite a few of the effects were used only rarely, and then there were some others that I would have liked (e.g., Slow Gear) but they are too expensive as pedals. Enter the MS-3!

Only the T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon, MXR/CAE MC401, and EV-30 carried over to the new board. I made a 7-Pin DIN > TRS adapter cable to change channels from the MS-3 patches (hence eliminating the Peavey footswitch) and installed a Rockboard MOD5 patchbay module. The board itself is a Rockboard Tres 3.1 with an IEC socket and USB port fitted to it. I made a cable snake out of 6m Rockboard cables, a Hosa 5m TRS cable, and an AC extension cord.It has the MC49 in L1 of the MS-3, an MXR Custom Badass Modified O.D. in L2, with L3 used for the 4 cable method. Instead of an cable from the guitar a Boss WL-60 is used. Most of the cables in the pedalboard were made from the Boss BCK-24 solderless cable kit
