High output single coil for HSH middle

I have a Suhr Modern Pro that I love (SSV neck and SSH+ bridge).  However, the middle pickup gets in the way of my picking, and if I lower it down out of the way enough, the lowered output renders it basically useless to use with the humbuckers.  Obviously I could lower the humbuckers more too, but I really have them in their sweet spots already. 

I have no experience with BKP single coils.  Can someone recommend a high output single coil, preferably with flat/flush slugs so that it's more out of the way of my picking (such as the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound)?  I'm not sure what I want tone-wise exactly; in my experience, the SSV and SSH+ pickups split very well, so I want something that gives me some usable split tones on this guitar, but with high enough output so that I can lower it further down than my current Suhr ML pickup to be out of the way of my picking. 

I want a high output middle single coil for the volume to keep up with my split humbuckers (which will be closer to the strings), not for compression or handling gain necessarily, if that makes sense.  A high volume but still dynamic middle.  Thanks guys!

Yeah I was leaning towards a Cobra, they seem to retain dynamics very well despite being high output.  I guess my fear about "high output" single coils is that they would compress too much or be too designed after handling high gain, whereas I want this pickup mostly for cleans and overdrive, just higher output to be able to lower it down more.

Hey Rob, you might want to look at Sinners as well if you desire something in the alnico ballpark. They are pretty high output but still organic.

It blew me away in the store in terms of sound, feel, quality, and playability.  I thought that I'd force myself to get used to the middle pickup, but can't.  I've never kept a Strat around for that reason, either.  Incidentally I had a really nice Custom Shop Strat that I sold when I got this, because I actually thought that the Suhr had better in-between quack sounds (positions 2 and 4).

So, I'm stuck with having the middle pickup raised up high to get good sounds out of (which screws up my playing), or lowering it down far enough out of my way to be able to palm mute, in which case I don't get the Strat tones.  I want the best of all possible worlds, if possible!  Otherwise I may give up and rewire the guitar as HH, just lowering the middle pickup out of the way and not using it at all.  I'm willing to try a couple of higher output middle single coils first, though.

Adapting your right hand movement is the cheapest solution in this case. I'm playing a HSS-strat type guitar most of the time and I have no issues with that. But yeah, we're all different and play different music.

I've tried for years, and it's just not going to happen I don't think now that I'm over 40.  I would have bought a HH, but they only come with Floyd Rose, which I also hate.  The only other option was spending an extra $1,000 for a custom build. 

Anyway I think that I'll most likely be able to find a higher output pickup that I'm happy with, or if not, I'll just put a cover on it and rewire it like an HH with a couple of split tones to choose from (most likely 1. Full bridge, 2. inner coils, 3. both humbuckers, 4. outer coils, 5. full neck).
