Silo or Warpig for SG?

Hi All,
I currently have a Rebel Yell in the bridge of my Gibson SG (with a Mississippi Queen in the neck), awesome pick up but not the best for an SG according to my taste..sounds too thin, so I want to change it with a thicker sounding pickup!
The obvious choice seemed to be the Warpig (AlNiCo) but all that output scares me a bit, so I sent an email and Tim suggested me to consider also the Silo, which is in the output range of the RY but more focused in the low and low-mids. The result is that now I really can't decide!

I know the Warpig works well in an SG. But what about the Silo?
Anyone had experience with the Silo in an SG? Any suggestion?

I've been curious about this too.
I have A5 Warpigs in a few SGs, and sometimes, with some amps, I wish the pickup output and feel was dialed back just a bit...and the Silo bridge always strikes me as a slightly dialed back Alnico Warpig.

I am not surprised that you have found the Rebel Yell thin in an SG.  I tried an Impulse bridge (which is similar to the RY bridge) in one of my SGs and it was very thin.  I went back to the alnico War Pig in that guitar but I also tested both versions of the Black Hawk.  The ceramic version is very piercing in the highs in an SG.  The alnico version is a lot better but I still think the War Pig is better and the War Pig actually sounds a lot less aggressive than either Black Hawk in an SG.  SGs emphasise the mids and lack low end.

I have also tried an alnico Nailbomb in another SG and really didn't like it, the aggressive mids of the NB were intensified greatly by the SG.  Pickups that I have tried besides the alnico War Pig are the Cold Sweat (a lot better than the NB and possibly an option for you) and the Miracle Man, which is the best humbucker I have tried in an SG so far.  The mids of the SG fill out the scoop of the MM resulting in a very balanced guitar, and the highs are not objectionable like the ceramic BH.

If you like the Mississippi Queen though I would encourage you to try a Supermassive or Stockholm in the bridge position.  I have a Stockjolm in an SG Junior and it is the best pickup I have used in an SG
