recommendation of a neck pup to compliment the Silo bridge pup

I just made another post regarding a potential complete replacement of the Silo set.  However, in the scenario that I keep the Silo bridge, and just replace the Silo neck pup, what would be your recommendation?

Background:  I OCD'd on many different pickup heights and currently have the neck pup as far away from strings as the guitar cavity will allow, and still my Silo neck pup sounds muddy and dark, and only sounds ok on upper frets.  Like, I can't play lower fretted chords with the neck pup, it sounds too dark and muddy.  I can only do lead work with the neck pup.  I have ruled out any problems with the wiring, with the help of Tim and also a look over by my guitar tech.  It could be due to the fact that my guitar is a shorter scale 24.5" and mahogany body.  It is a PRS SC245.

I need to brighten up the neck pup, what would be your recommendation as a replacement that would nicely compliment the Silo bridge pup?

brighter neck pickups that I have used are the Nailbomb and Impulse neck pickups.  The latter is quite stratty for a humbucker

I kind of went through this (and am still going through this), trying to find the right neck pickup.  In my case, I'm pretty set on the Holydiver bridge, and am currently using the Emerald Neck with it.  However if you're looking for a brighter neck pickup as I was initially, I would suggest the Holydiver neck as very bright with excellent clarity and note separation.  It handles gain nicely as well, but to my ears was slightly "sterile" and didn't do the throaty/bluesy thing at all.  If you don't care about that, you might love it.

The True Grit neck was fairly similar, though more throaty and not quite as bright.  It might work for you as well.

It might be poor form on the BKP forums to recommend other brands, but I think that my personal favorite boutique neck pickup is the Suhr SSV.  It seems to have the best qualities of many pickups.  It's fairly bright and has great note separation like a Holydiver, but can still sound very throaty and bluesy to me.  At least, it's perfect in my Suhr Modern, but different guitars need pickups, etc, etc.

I liked agree that the neck true grit is fairly similar to the neck emerald, but I confess I liked the true grit even better
not as glassy, but somehow a little more versatile

I meant that the neck True Grit was fairly similar to the Holydiver neck, though on second thought they perhaps aren't all that close.  The Emerald is really a pretty unique one, and I'm not 100% how much I really like it yet.  I wish that it wasn't quite so warm or that it had more highs sometimes, but it's very full without being flubby, which is cool.

I had many bridge divers, but never played the neck version

the emerald is surely unique, a lot more different the neck mule than the usual comparisons insinuate
It reminded me a bit of the neck nailbomb, but middier and... better
I like the flatter modern concise sound of the neck true grit a bit better, though
the neck nailbomb was a bit too scooped and trebly for me
I didn't feel like the emerald lacked highs in my guitar, though
