Mick Taylor blade pickups Strat
« on: September 13, 2021, 09:18:30 PM »
Hello guys! How are you??? Long time no see... my fault!

I was watching a 1982 concert from John Mayall with Mick Taylor and he has a strat with weird blade magnets that I've never seen before...
Anybody knows what is this??
Anybody knows which BKP sounds alike this? Really digging this tone!

Lawrence had blades back then.  I don’t know who else.

Cool clip!  I didn’t realize that Taylor worked with Mayall in 1982.

I like his sound, but I don’t know BKP strat pickups well enough to hazard a guess.
