Which BKP's for Sepultura Chaos AD tone?
« on: May 16, 2006, 12:49:35 PM »
It'll be my Ibanez RGA-121 (mahogany and maple body) into a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifer half stack. Which BKP's will give me the tone I'm looking for?

BKP's: Nailbomb, Miracle Man, Cold Sweat, Mother's Milk, Mule, Rebel Yell, Crawler

Nailbombs always sound good in RG's apparently. The NB clip on the players forum was done with an RG of some kind I think.

Nailbomb for sure! - it's based on Max Cavalera's tone in his side project away from Sepultura called "Nailbomb" as far as i know

Thanks guys.

I've got a set of Nailbomb's in my Les Paul right now and they flat out kill. The Ibanez is going to be the gigging guitar though. The Les Paul get's pretty heavy after a couple of songs, if you know what I mean.

I'd put the nailbombs in the ibanez and find something different for the les paul. Something lower output for a different sound perhaps? VHIIs?
