JT,

gutted mate. I thought that whilst Barca played the game correct for themselves, that you boys played the better football 11 on 11, and even at 10 men you've gotta say that Arsenals achievement at keeping it 1-0 for so long was greater than Barca's for scoring a debatably offside goal, and a second that really could have gone anywhere.

Credit to Barcelona, they're a top team. It just irks me that so much hype is spoken about them - particularly the noticeably mediocre Ronaldinho - that I really wanted the English team to put them in their place.

Still, if Ronaldinho plays like that in the World Cup, I ain't worried! :D

Haha, don't mean to be harsh but i'm a Man Utd supporter so naturally i wanted Arsenal to lose, also i had a bet on for Barca to win so that too lol, But Lehman is a tit he shouldn't have done that, but in their defense the ref was a bit of a tw@t and he didn't judge it fairly, but Barca in the end took their chances and finished them, Henry could have put it away for Arsenal 2 or 3 times.

Nah Lehman did the right thing. It must have been really hard to do, but it was the right thing at the time. You can only really criticise it with the benefit of hindsight, but after 70 minutes I bet you weren't criticising Lehmann

I watched the 2nd half only i watched arsenel really play with a struggle against Barcelona but when they got in the other half and had posetion they looked so much more fierce than Barcelona, we all know who the better team on the night was and it wasnt the winners.

And I dont give a shite who wins coz im not a football fan.

I was gutted too. I'm one of the few left (it seems) that believe Arsenal are the best team in the country when they bother to play the game.

I think they had the best of the game. Ronaldinho was mediocre that night, but I don't think he's over-rated :P. Just my opinion :). Although I do think Theirry Henry is equal to him. I'm really glad he's signed a new deal. He's a wonderful player to watch and it would be a travesty for him not to play in the best league in the world.

Barca didn't deserve to win IMO.

Had Arsenal won the final, I believe Henry would have left for Barcelona, joining their dressing room as a winner, rather than loser. Therefore he would receive more praise on arrival. This psychology is rife with these football player ego's.

I also think i f they had won he would have left, because as well as the [sychology regarding joining Barca, it would have been easier for him to leave Arsenal in that way.

:D Hi Guys sorry for the delay but i`ve had an unbelievable week !!!

My grandfather died on Tuesday night, Arsenal lost the final on Weds night we had the Funeral on the Thursday & on Friday i had to see the Law firm dealing with my grandfathers estate !!!!

I thought the ref decided the out come when he sent of Lehman. As for Lehman any good goalkeeper would have done what he did, it`s a calculated risk. Personnaly i would have let the goal stand & booked Lehman. The decision didn`t benefit anyone. It cost Barca a goal it denied Arsenal a player & it turned what could have been one of the best finals in years into a lets play for penalties or try to score if we get lucky type games. What appalled me was Barca players brandishing pretend cards everytime a Arsenal player commited a foul. Disgracefull !!! The ref wasn`t good enough for the final he`s not refing in the world cup which says it all. The linesmen where invisible & gutless which didn`t help the ref out any & Eto was for me the best player on the pitch great player gracefull, fast, with 2 good feet i wonder if we can get Theo Waldcott to be that good !!

PS Oh yer i`ve said all the way through the Henry thing that i thought he`d stay i`m relieved & pleased he has, it`s not only good for Arsenal but also good for English football. Besides when he gets to 35 West Ham can sign him !!! LOL :P

Hey Jt, sorry to hear the bad news, hope things are OK.

Regarding Henry, me and a few of my mates went to Sunderland the other week to watch Arsenal; we thought it might be the last chance to see Henry play in this country. When he got subbed, all 4 sides of the ground gave him a standing ovation. I think people appreciate him as a footballer but also are aware of how important players like him are to the development of English football. I think Henry's great, and a good guy to boot. :D

:D Thanks Mate yep i`m fine just trying to get my head together !!

What we need is to get people like Henry to train with & inspire the younger English players so we can develope English Henry`s god no`s we could use one particulary now going into a world cup. Glad you went to see him & Sunderland. You can only understand how exciting football really is when you see a game in the flesh :D

It was like that when i 1st saw AC/DC 1980 unbelievable !! :D
