Can I take another opportunity to mention that fantastic Last.fm service.

Basically a plugin for your media player that reports the songs you play to a website which then creates charts (for both you, and for all users combined).  It can also create a personalised streaming radio station for you and make music recommendations based on what you've listend too and what other people who like the same stuff listen too.  Plus, it's FREE.  :)

You can also embed some of your charts in your own website (in a variety of styles).

Here's my overall top-5 artist chart:

My recently played tracks:

And my weekly top-5 artists:

EDIT: Might help if I actually gave a link : http://www.last.fm/user/Mu77ley/

COOL listening JC, cept Blur *shiver* :)

I know there not everyones cup of tea but they grow on you and some of their stuff is pretty clever. Don't make the mistake of lumping them in with Oasis ect as it's a lot different!
Warpig, MQ,
Miracle Man-Trilogy Suite, Cold Sweats, Black Guards, Rebel Yells & Irish Tours!

Led Zeppelin I
Appetite For Destruction

...haven't listened to those 2 albums in ages after I wore them to death when I was younger, it's nice to dig them out again as they're awesome albums.

Also, Rolling Stones - 40 Licks, what an album!

I just downloaded a few tracks by Wolfmother, I think I'm gonna buy their album, great rock music and remind me of Zeppelin on a few songs :D Also got a few Bad Company tracks that I liked.

Indy..Never had you down as a Def Leppard man!

Dio, "Holy Diver" and "Dream Evil".
Rainbow, "Down to earth."
Van Halen "1984"
Def Leppard "Yeah", "High N Dry" and "On through the night"
Steve Vai ,"Passion and Warfare".
Mr Big "Lean into it".
Led Zepplin "ll"
and Whitesnake "1987"

You really dont get rock music this good anymore.
Listening to Dio again makes me see where Tenacious D get all there rock stuff from LOL. :D

Def Leppards version of "Dont beleive a word" on the new album is fantastic btw.

The Orson album is f***in' awsome.
It's got a real Thin Lizzy/Police sound to it.

Killing Joke - Hosannas From the Basements of Hell: As always Jaz sounds like he's about to rip someone's head off, and Geordie's tone does.

Atavist - Atavist: Painfully slow & angry Mancunians, awesome.

The Abominable Iron Sloth - The Abominable Iron Sloth: Dirgey, sludgey, angry growling, another classic in constant rotation at Skybone Towers. Song titles like "The Family That Slays Together Stays Together" and "Parasite Hilton and Other Flaws Inherant to Wealth".

Trouble - Trouble: The 1990 s/t not the '84 renamed one. Excellent band.

The Hidden Hand - Devoid of Colour: Simply fantastic, lots of odd time signatures and frenetic riffs played with tons of soul.
Bibble.
BKP's: Black Dog set, Emerald set, & Crawler set.

in the car i have The Darkness: Permission to land

in the gym, Wolfmother, Steve Vai: Real Illusions, Danzig and Faith No More: The Real Thing

And in my room, Neil Young: Living With War, Bruce Springsteen: The Seeger Sessions, Metallica: Master Of Puppets and Shotgun Messiah

i've just decided not to be immediately predjudiced about new music, so at work, along with the new Tool album, i've been listening to Kaiser Chiefs.  hmmm, couple of good songs....
