I know a few players in Horsham - customers of mine as we are just up the road in Croydon

Sadly they are usually in bands - Greg from Limehouse Lizzy and Barry who used to be lead guitar in Dirty Deeds - the pet project of Maiden's Steve Harris as opposed to an AC/DC tribute band

I'll ask about where to find players when I see them next

I don't know what style you are into- apparently there is a blues session every  2nd tuesday at the Cherry Tree near Faygate. If that is your thing, maybe you could meet up with other musos there- sorry I dont know if that is any help. I have not been there myself though.

That's what you get for skim reading Mr Beatle :)

I think we can forgive you this slight mistake due to the fact that you're a real font of knowledge most of the time - especially if people want to know the best switching configuration for a Tele

Actually, I am interested in the 5 way that Phil mentioned- there is always something new to go for. Skim reading eh- you are dead right- I have to do an exam for work in 2 weeks and I have tons of rubbish to read and I am skimming like Mr Skim the skimming king of Skimsville.

:) That's about the way the revision for my A Levels went - You think you know it, and can't force yourself to read it fully for the second time...

Anyways, how would a 5 way work with 2 single coils?

We are hijacking poor Marooned's thread but briefly, the 5 way enables you to add a capacitor (I think) so that you get the normal 3 plus the 2 in series and then the capacitor-maybe Phil can confirm it.
Anyway, back to topic- I will keeps my ears open for any bands advertising. If you haven't already, put your name on Musofinder. I thought that there was quite a scene in Horsham with many young bands. Have you asked the guys in the music store in East Street- they don't have the traditional notice board ads though.I think they do in Crawley at Bedrock and that other one that I can't recall the name of at the moment.

I know it is East Sussex but worth a look

Not for a while Rob no. I may have been a little under the influence when I wrote that-at the time I was mildly amused but now I am not sure-quick, were is that Ardbeg?
