Hails Guys.. ahahahah i didn´t buy my set yet.
i would like to know what do you guys recomend me to get this kind of tone(2 Humbucker fender guitar )

Bridge - Old school Tone, Kinda Growling Mids.. Tight bass, Warm Highs...
kinda pickup that could have a  hot warm and crunchy tone, for Rock, Blues, Jazz.. and yet Manage to do Some Metal A lá Mercyful Fate , Sodom, Kreator, Destruction Etc.. Kinda Heavy/Thrash!
All tuned to E standard this time.
its a basswood body with blurr maple cap fender MIJ stratocaster.
one piece maple neck/fretboard with 21 smallfrets.
if this helps the equations
Through my 5150 head and a 4x12 marshal 1960. (4 x celestion g12 t 75.)
Neck - Smooth, Crystal clear , and Sweet Clean... on clean mode.
On distorted mode.. Smooth  bass (slightly tight), Crunchy, but not too much, and sweet Singing Highs.
Moderate Output.
kinda Single coil twangy/glassy sound but without Loosing al the Heavyness(Bass) .

any tips!?

thank´s In Advance.
JP

I'd say VHII for the bridge and Cold Sweat for the neck, or a VHII calibrated set might be fine as well.

Another one to think about is the Nailbomb set. It's got a little more aggressive edge to it but with a good volume pot you can cover all kinds of sounds with that set. Very versatile pickups.

I'll second the Nailbomb for the Bridge. Like Dave said, with a good vol. pot like I have,  I really can back off of it and get classic  moderate distortion, but full on, very heavy. I have mine split, as well and I could'nt believe how good it sounds split.  I.  Still like a humbucker with a single's bite. It even sounds good clean as a humbucker.  I would go for the VHII  neck for the smoothness, and brilliance clean.

I was thinking a Storm Monday neck, and The Mule or a holydiver bridge and a cold sweat neck!?

I'd say the VHII would be a better neck choice than the Cold Sweat unless ur heavily into sweep picking and leggato, thats where the Cold Sweat shines in my opinion really smooth responsive not too compressed.. just right.

The VHII Neck is just the god of neck pickup tones in my opinion but isnt as good at high gain shreddery.

The Holy Diver might work pretty well with the bass wood body. I don't think bass wood has a lot of mids inherently.

IMO, the God of Neck Pup Tones is the Abraxas/Crawler neck! Definitely hot but smooth, and can do the sweet thing as well as the crunchy thing.  But I imagine the VHII is OK .... :)

When I saw the description called for in the bridge, I also thought "Nailbomb".  So my vote would lean towards Nailbomb bridge/Abraxas neck.  On the other hand, the Abraxas neck is not aimed towards high gain shreddery any more than the VHII ....

Regarding the COLD SWEAT.. do you have any additional tip for a pickup with 50% + 50 % of the characters you said? i mean Smoothness and compression.. ? cause i like the compression a bit. ahahahahaha

Hum Interesting Tips Guys
Thank´s.. now my reply...
well, appart from my 0% experience with any bkp pickup.. just by hearing Some mp3, wouldn´t the vhII be kinda Airy/Dry ..?!!?
I´m considering the nailbomb bridge as you said and a VhII neck.. But,i ´m also thinking of a holydiver Bridge and a (insert your pickup tip here).. Neck(for a ballance of smoothness and compression, with articulation, of course)

the Cold Sweat to me kinda hits a peak then levels out it might be compression im not sure what it is but it deffinatly makes it easier for playing fast stuff, but it manages to sound really responsive and open at the same time.. stunning neck pickup.

The VHII had more tone imo though.
