Orange cabs are very sturdy and well built. As are the MESA cabs I've used.

The problem with orange cabs (and the reason I've not considered buying their amps) is that they're orange...They just look stupid to me, even if they do sound good (never tried one) - and I'm too much of a poser to give them a chance

Both Orange and Matamp cabs are pretty much the same(size and material wise anyways) except you can get a matamp cab in any color of the rainbow :]. Only thing is their all handmade in the UK so they seem to be a little pricey. Check out the 'gallery section of their site here; http://www.matamp.co.uk/gallery.htm. Theres also electricamp.com who are US based but they do pretty much the same  thing as matamp and orange but better quality, crafstmanship and components. There a lil' cheaper too i think.

You can get orange cabs in BLACK, it's a special order and you will have to wait for them to make it (about 2 weeks) but it's no extra charge.

Anyone know of any cab plans available on the Intermaweb?  I've got my old G12T-75's from my 1960a since upgrading that cab to Vintage 30's.

The big benefit is that they will load them with any Celestion speaker they can get hold of. They can also be bought empty.
