i've just raised my most recent beer in your honour! happy birthday! hope the wah turns out good for you, do let us all know what you think. must say, i prefer the old fashioned ones, even though they do get scratchy. my morley doesn't wear out, but nor does it get much use, cuz my crybaby sounds better!! personal opinion, and i'm away to open another beer, see yes later...

I used to have a crybaby, but sold it about 10 years ago when I got my old Boss GT-5, now that's dead I nead another and I've been listening to a lot of demos of different wahs and to me the Bad Horsie II sounds like a wah should sound. Whether this is due to the amount of Vai I listen to or not is open to debate. ;)

I always hated the "click down hard" to turn it on/off of the crybaby, so just being able to move the pedal and have it activate will be fun to have. :)
