Mother's Milk for MIM?
« on: August 01, 2006, 07:08:13 PM »
I am going to buy a set of singlecoils for my MIM Strat because the stock pickups are very weak sounding when playing clean.
I am a big of John Frusciante so was drawn to the Mother's Milk set, but i was wondering if they are also good for playing with a lot of distortion or are only good for a clean/slightly overdriven sound?

They do dirty up well, particularly the bridge which is a hot vintage spec-very much a classic rock tone when run into a dirty amp.
